According to unr.edu, Validation is defined as: The process by which employee selection devices are demonstrated empirically to be predictive of job performance. Under EEOC Guidelines, tests or other selection devices which screen out minorities or women at a greater rate than others must be validated according to procedures which meet the published standards of the American Psychological Association.
