Writing Guidelines for Lawyers

The Encyclopedia and the Magazine welcomes contributions from Lawi community members on all topics that might be of interest to users of Lawi. This can be an article on rhe application of new legislation or of general interest .

Since we publish several free entries per quarter, take a look at some of our previous articles to get a feel for what our articles are like. You might also want to take an “Entry tour” to get an idea of the effort we put into all our entries.

We also publish an up-to-date list of topics we are particularly interested in.

We welcome article submissions:

When you have an idea for an article onthe Encyclopedia of Law that you would be interested in writing yourself, send us a short description in English – a paragraph or two will do. Identify the topic (or topics) you would like to write about and why it is (they are) important. Send your idea(s) to the Editor . Your suggestion(s) will then be considered by the Encyclopedia Area Editor. He, or a member of the Encyclopedia staff will then get back to you with respect to your proposal(s).
If you have already written an article, in English, which has not been published in some other resource, you can send it to us and the Encyclopedia of Law will review the article and give consideration to its inclusion in this reference work. We’ll inform you of our decision.

If you would like to suggest a topic that is of interest to you or which you think would be of interest to the Encyclopedia of Law community, please contact us and share your idea(s) with us. If our team agrees that the topic would be of interest, we will try to find an author willing to write an article about it.
