The current, permanent, in-force federal laws regulating functions of federal agencies are compiled in the United States Code under Title 19, Chapter 13, Subchapter II, Part B. It constitutes “prima facie” evidence of statutes relating to Customs Duties (including functions of federal agencies) of the United States. The reader can further narrow his/her legal research of the general topic (in this case, Trade Agreements Act of 1979 and Trade of the US Code, including functions of federal agencies) by chapter and subchapter.
