Oil Shale in the U.S. Code: Title 30, Chapter 3A, Subchapter V

The current, permanent, in-force federal laws regulating oil shale are compiled in the United States Code under Title 30, Chapter 3A, Subchapter V. It constitutes “prima facie” evidence of statutes relating to Mining (including oil shale) of the United States. The reader can further narrow his/her legal research of the general topic (in this case, Permits of the US Code, including oil shale) by chapter and subchapter.
