Fuer Definition

(Law Pr.; from Lat. fugere). In old English law. To fly or flee; to chase or drive. Kelham; Law Fr. Diet. Flight. Fuer en fait, flight in fact, was when a man did apparently and corporally flee. Fuer en ley, flight in law, was when, being called in the county court, he failed to appear; for this was “flight,” in interpretation of law. Staund. P. C. lib. 3, c. 22; Cowell.
