The current, permanent, in-force federal laws regulating wines are compiled in the United States Code under Title 26, Subtitle E, Chapter 51, Subchapter A, Part I, Subpart C. It constitutes “prima facie” evidence of statutes relating to Excise Taxes (including wines) of the United States. The reader can further narrow his/her legal research of the general topic (in this case, Distilled Spirits, Wines and Beer of the US Code, including wines) by chapter and subchapter.
