Trading With the Enemy Act in International Trade

In this context, a concept of Trading With the Enemy Act (Christopher Mark, 1993) is the following: Legislation originally enacted in 1917, and amended in 1941, granting the President authority to prohibit or regulate trade, investments, remittances, travel, or any other economic transaction with any designated country or its nationals during times of war or national emergency.
