Supplicavit Definition
(Lat.) In English law. The name of a writ issuing out of the king’s bench or chancery for taking sureties of the peace. It is commonly directed to the justices of the peace, when they are iverse to acting in the afEair in their judical capacity. 4 Bl. Comm. 233.
