Restitution Of Conjugal Rights Definition
In ecclesiastical law. A compulsory renewal of cohabitation between a husband and wife who have been living separately. A suit may be brought in the divorce and matrimonial court for this purpose whenever either the husband or wife is guilty of the injury of subtraction, or lives separate from the other without sufficient reason, by which the party injured may compel the other to return to cohabitation. 3 Bl.
