The current, permanent, in-force federal laws regulating agreements are compiled in the United States Code under Title 46, Subtitle IV, Part A, Chapter 403. It constitutes “prima facie” evidence of statutes relating to Shipping (including agreements) of the United States. The reader can further narrow his/her legal research of the general topic (in this case, Regulation of Ocean Shipping and Agreements of the US Code, including agreements) by chapter and subchapter.
