(Law Lat.) In old English law. The Rochester text. Ah ancient manuscript containing many of the Saxon laws, and the rights, customs, tenures, etc., of the church of Rochester, drawn up by Ernulph, bishop of that see from A. D. 1114 to 1124. Cowell. Blount gives it a greater antiquity.
