National Forests in the U.S. Code: Title 16, Chapter 2

The current, permanent, in-force federal laws regulating national forests are compiled in the United States Code under Title 16, Chapter 2. It constitutes “prima facie” evidence of statutes relating to Conservation (including national forests) of the United States. The reader can further narrow his/her legal research of the general topic (in this case, Parks and National Forests of the US Code, including national forests) by chapter and subchapter.
