Basic Authorities in the U.S. Code: Title 19, Chapter 8, Subchapter II

The current, permanent, in-force federal laws regulating basic authorities are compiled in the United States Code under Title 19, Chapter 8, Subchapter II. It constitutes “prima facie” evidence of statutes relating to Customs Duties (including basic authorities) of the United States. The reader can further narrow his/her legal research of the general topic (in this case, Motor Vehicle of the US Code, including basic authorities) by chapter and subchapter.
