Distress Signals in the U.S. Code: Title 33, Chapter 3, Subchapter VI

The current, permanent, in-force federal laws regulating distress signals are compiled in the United States Code under Title 33, Chapter 3, Subchapter VI. It constitutes “prima facie” evidence of statutes relating to Navigation and Navigable Waters (including distress signals) of the United States.
