Oil and Gas in the U.S. Code: Title 30, Chapter 3A, Subchapter IV

The current, permanent, in-force federal laws regulating oil and gas are compiled in the United States Code under Title 30, Chapter 3A, Subchapter IV. It constitutes “prima facie” evidence of statutes relating to Mining (including oil and gas) of the United States. The reader can further narrow his/her legal research of the general topic (in this case, Permits of the US Code, including oil and gas) by chapter and subchapter.
