The current, permanent, in-force federal laws regulating economic development related issues are compiled in the United States Code under Title 19, Chapter 23, Subchapter III. It constitutes “prima facie” evidence of statutes relating to Customs Duties (including economic development related issues) of the United States. The reader can further narrow his/her legal research of the general topic (in this case, Trade and Africa of the US Code, including economic development related issues) by chapter and subchapter.
