Standards and Compliance in the U.S. Code: Title 49, Subtitle VI, Part A, Chapter 301, Subchapter II

The current, permanent, in-force federal laws regulating standards and compliance are compiled in the United States Code under Title 49, Subtitle VI, Part A, Chapter 301, Subchapter II. It constitutes “prima facie” evidence of statutes relating to Transportation (including standards and compliance) of the United States. The reader can further narrow his/her legal research of the general topic (in this case, Motor Vehicle Programs and Transport Programs and Motor Vehicle and Standards of the US Code, including standards and compliance) by chapter and subchapter.
