Spiritual Corporations Definition
Corporations, the members of which are entirely spiritual persons, and incorporated as such, for the furtherance of religion, and perpetuating the rights of the church. They are of two sorts, sole, as bishops, certain deans, parsons, and vicars, or aggregate, as dean and chapter, prior and convent, etc.
