Refugee, Asylum, and Consular Matters in the U.S. Code: Title 22, Chapter 73, Subchapter IV
The current, permanent, in-force federal laws regulating refugee, asylum, and consular matters are compiled in the United States Code under Title 22, Chapter 73, Subchapter IV. It constitutes “prima facie” evidence of statutes relating to Foreign Relations (including refugee, asylum, and consular matters) of the United States. The reader can further narrow his/her legal research of the general topic (in this case, International Religious Freedom of the US Code, including refugee, asylum, and consular matters) by chapter and subchapter.
