In Civil Law. One who Is in his or her minority. See Dig. 1. 7.; Id. 26. 7. 1. 2; Id. 50. 16. 239 ; Code, 6. 30. 18. One who is in ward or guardianship. At Common Law. One who is under tuition in any school, or under a private instructor.
