Public Transportation in the U.S. Code: Title 49, Subtitle III, Chapter 53

The current, permanent, in-force federal laws regulating public transportation are compiled in the United States Code under Title 49, Subtitle III, Chapter 53. It constitutes “prima facie” evidence of statutes relating to Transportation (including public transportation) of the United States. The reader can further narrow his/her legal research of the general topic (in this case, Transport Programs of the US Code, including public transportation) by chapter and subchapter.
