Navigation and Navigable Waters in the U.S. Code: Title 33

The current, permanent, in-force federal laws regulating navigation and navigable waters are compiled in the United States Code under Title 33. It constitutes “prima facie” evidence of statutes relating to Navigation and Navigable Waters (including navigation and navigable waters) of the United States. The reader can further narrow his/her legal research of the general topic (in this case, Waters of the US Code, including navigation and navigable waters) by chapter and subchapter.
