Legal Reversion Definition
In Scotch law. The period within which a proprietor is at liberty to redeem land adjudged from him for debt. Bell, Diet. “i LEGAL TENDER. Lawful money which may be tendered in payment of debt. Under the laws of the United States, gold coin is full legal tender, silver coin is legal tender in payments of not to exceed five dollars, the minor coins in payments not to exceed twenty-five cents. Treasury notes, etc., are full legal tender except in payment of duties on imports and interest on the public debt. U. S. Rev. St., § 3584 et seq.
