Issuance of Entry Documents in the U.S. Code: Title 8, Chapter 12, Subchapter II, Part III

The current, permanent, in-force federal laws regulating issuance of entry documents are compiled in the United States Code under Title 8, Chapter 12, Subchapter II, Part III. It constitutes “prima facie” evidence of statutes relating to Aliens and Nationality (including issuance of entry documents) of the United States.
