The current, permanent, in-force federal laws regulating inspector general are compiled in the United States Code under Title 6, Chapter 1, Subchapter VIII, Part B. It constitutes “prima facie” evidence of statutes relating to Domestic Security (including inspector general) of the United States. The reader can further narrow his/her legal research of the general topic (in this case, Homeland Security of the US Code, including inspector general) by chapter and subchapter.
