Indiana Law Review

The Indiana Law Review is a legal periodical edited and managed by students of Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law. The primary objective of the Law Review is to serve as an informational resource for practitioners, members of the judiciary, legal scholars, and law students.
Each year, the Law Review publishes one volume, which consists of four issues. Generally, the first three issues contain two to four lead articles and three to five student Notes. The lead articles are selected from a pool of works written by professors, judges, and practitioners located throughout the country. The student Notes are written by the newly selected Law Review members and are selected by the Board based on several factors, such as the significance of the subject, depth of analysis, scholarly approach, innovation, style, supporting authority, and soundness of conclusion.

The fourth issue is the final and longest issue of each year. The Survey of Recent Developments in Indiana Law contains fifteen to twenty articles written by professors and Indiana practitioners summarizing the significant changes and developments in Indiana law during the prior year (October to October). The Survey is widely acclaimed throughout Indiana. It is commonly used by students preparing for the Indiana Bar examination and is often referred to by practitioners in their daily practice.
