Homologation Definition
In Civil Law. Approbation; confirmation by a court of justice; a judgment which orders the execution of some act ; as, the approbation of an award, and ordering execution on the same. Merlin, Repert.; Civ. Code La.; Dig. 4. 8; 7 TouUier, Dr. Civ. note 224. To homologate is to say the like, aimUiter dicer e. 9 Mart. (La.) 324. In Scotch Law.
