Bush, George Herbert Walker (1924 ) in Environmental Law

The 4th president of the United States and self designated “environmental president.” His environmental record was weak, but it was significantly better than Ronald Reagan’s [see Ronald Reagan]. One of the major accomplishments during the Bush years was the passage and signing of the Clean Air Act Amendments of 1990, sweeping changes that strengthened the act considerably.
