Earmarked Contribution in the context of the Political Party Committees
In this context, Earmarked Contribution may be defined as follows: A contribution that the contributor directs (either orally or in writing) to a clearly identified candidate or authorized committee through an intermediary or conduit. Earmarking may take the form of a designation, instruction or encumbrance, and it may be direct or indirect, express or implied. 110.6. See Chapter 6.
