Drunkard Definition

Synonymous with “habitual drunkard” (q. v.) 5 Gray (Mass.) 85, He is a drunkard whose habit is to get drunk, “whose ebriety has become habitual.” 5 Gray (Mass.) 86. As for a drunkard, he is voluntanus daemon; he hath no privilege thereby; but what hurt or ill soever he doth, his drunkenness doth aggravate it. 9 Humph. (Tenn.) 665.
