The current, permanent, in-force federal laws regulating crimes and offenses are compiled in the United States Code under Title 12, Chapter 5. It constitutes “prima facie” evidence of statutes relating to Banking Law (including crimes and offenses) of the United States. The reader can further narrow his/her legal research of the general topic (in this case, Bank Fraud and Criminal Law of the US Code, including crimes and offenses) by chapter and subchapter.
