Convict Labor in the U.S. Code: Title 39, Part III, Chapter 22
The current, permanent, in-force federal laws regulating convict labor are compiled in the United States Code under Title 39, Part III, Chapter 22. It constitutes “prima facie” evidence of statutes relating to Postal Service (including convict labor) of the United States. The reader can further narrow his/her legal research of the general topic (in this case, Pastel Service Organization of the US Code, including convict labor) by chapter and subchapter.
