Annual Review in the context of Juvenile and Family Law

Definition ofAnnual Review, published by the National Council of Juvenile and Family Court Judges: Yearly judicial review, usually in dependency cases, to determine whether the child requires continued court supervision or placement. Increasingly required by state laws; but also often set as policy by local court rule. Sometimes reviews are required at other than yearly intervals.
