American University International Law Review

The American University International Law Review publishes articles, critical essays, comments, and casenotes on a wide variety of international law topics, including public and private international law, the law of international organizations, international trade law, international arbitration, and international human rights. AUILR also publishes pieces on topics of foreign and comparative law that are of particular interest to the international legal community.

AUILR enjoys a special relationship with the Washington College of Law’s prestigious International Legal Studies Program and renowned Academy on Human Rights and Humanitarian Law. The journal draws on this relationship and publishes annually a unique bilingual collection of English and Spanish language scholarship on timely issues related to the proceedings of the Academy on Human Rights and Humanitarian Law. In addition, AUILR also collaborates with the American Society of International Law (“ASIL”), which gives the journal the privilege of annually publishing the Grotius Lecture and Response from ASIL’s Annual Meeting.

AUILR is one of the ten most frequently cited international and comparative student law reviews in the United States.
