American Jurisprudence in United States

Practical Information

Note: Some of this information was last updated in 1982

A legal encyclopedia that gives comprehensive textual statements of American case law. Am. Jur., as American Jurisprudence is commonly called, makes no attempt to cite every case in point in support of its text. It relies heavily on cases printed in the annotated case series (See american law reports (in U.S. law)), including all United States Supreme Court cases. Am. Jur. also cites and quotes pertinent restatements of the law (in U.S. law).
